I spent nearly ten years managing business operations (budgets, procurement, assets, and the org-wide chaos in between) before retraining as a fullstack developer. Now I do both at once: my day job mixes office administration with hands-on IT on one of Vietnam's biggest construction projects.
The interest actually goes back further, to university. My degree had nothing to do with code, but somewhere along the way I found a real passion for programming and technology in general, and kept teaching myself alongside my coursework. That self-taught habit never really stopped; it just eventually became the second half of my career.
That combination is my thing. I can read a balance sheet and a stack trace, translate what the business actually needs into software that gets used, and then host it myself. Off the clock I'm deep in Android modding, self-hosted infrastructure, and whatever rabbit hole the internet offers next.

Administration:
Analyzed and improved office operational processes, coordinated cross-department workflows, and managed operational data and company assets, feeding budget planning and business performance evaluation. Worked with accounting and the board on budgeting and cost control.
Owned budgets and procurement (supplier evaluation, cost optimization), office administration, and asset inventory. Planned and ran corporate events end-to-end, including budget tracking and reporting.
Managed the full real-estate sales contract lifecycle: legal compliance, workflow optimization, customer transaction records, and front-line contract support.
A full asset-management system I designed and built for a large construction project: an ASP.NET Core API backend with a native WPF desktop client for the office, real-time updates over SignalR, and an AI layer for document translation and "scan-to-fill": snap a photo of a receipt or invoice and let AI propose the data entry. Runs in production on infrastructure I administer myself. Born directly from a decade of doing asset management the manual way.
A personal-finance web app: wallets, transactions, budgets, savings goals, shared wallets, lending. I designed the core business flows from real cash-flow principles, then built the Java backend and React/Vite frontend (my two careers shaking hands).
Multi-role marketplace (buyer/seller/admin) with Spring Security auth, store & order management, and food suggestions driven by time-of-day and live weather. Database design and role authorization were mine, end to end.
Everything you're reading is served from a VPS I run myself: Nginx, PostgreSQL, DNS, TLS, firewall, backups, the lot. Self-hosting isn't just a hobby; it's how I stress-test what I know about infrastructure.
